How many years have you been skateboarding: 24yrs

Who first inspired you to skate? My older brother was the first and Sal Barbier aka SLB both were the first ones and Sal was one of the first Pro’s i had met at the time, he was a good friend of my brother and to this day Sal and i are still friends. Watching him skate in person and having people to look up to really had an impact on me which really opened my world and imagination up by being around skaters like my brother who also was big into surfing too and Sal and just a lot of other pros at a really young age.

Who is your favorite skater or skaters? Daewon Song, Mark Suciu, Pj Ladd, P-rod, Shane Oneill, My dawg Ryan Gallant, Mark Appleyard, Guy Mariano, Wade Desarmo, Luan Oliveira, That’s only to name a few..

Whats your favorite skateboard video? Virtual Reality, Questionable, Mouse, Spirit Quest, All TWS videos, The list goes on…

What size skateboard do you ride? I was riding a 8.1 but for the last few months I’ve switched up a size to riding a 8.25’s now.

What is your favorite trick to do? Man they switch up all the time but right now i’m liking nollie flip tricks with variation on ledges etc, hard flips, back smiths are always a go.

Where is your favorite place to skate? Barcelona Spain, China, Anything and anywhere that’s new to skate and where the vibe is right.

What was your first skateboard and how did you get it? My first board was handed down to me by my older brother just before the double kick-tail shapes came into skateboarding, it was an old school board, a used set up. It meant everything to me by having my own board. It was a tank of a gem!

Why do you choose to be a skate Coach? It’s something i’m very passionate about and i’ve worked with a lot of youth programs and YMCA’s, skate camps and working one on one with kids and to see how much they progress and not just on the board but in themselves and off the board, it’s really rewarding for me to see how much progress they make and to have something to do with helping people reach their full potential. Is huge! i’ve also worked with High School Skate leagues in 2016-2017 and my team Won the skate contest out of all the cities and schools that came together who held the skate contest/Event out of all the high school skate teams in southern California, My team one! And working with kids and adults in such a vast and diverse range has given me so much more experience and is why i like to continually be a part of something that helps and contributes to others through our love for skateboarding.

What does skateboarding mean to you? Something that words can’t really justify for. But to sum it up in a nutshell, life is like skateboarding we develop each time from our falls.. you learn something about yourself or others or what ever it could be each and every time! you take a life lesson with you. What i like about it to is you’re bringing ideas into action, it’s a freedom of expression. It’s like your mind is as powerful as your board when you give it good energy, it’ll always move you to better places
